TERMS OF SERVICE · UPDATED 28 OCTOBER 2026

A clear agreement.
Before the first edit.

By using RelightSnap, you agree to these terms with 42n, the team behind RelightSnap.

01

The service and your account

RelightSnap edits the lighting of uploaded photos with OpenAI’s GPT Image API and six presets: Auto fix, Studio, Soft daylight, Brighten, Remove shadows and Golden hour. Processing times vary with demand and provider availability.

Provide accurate account information and protect your credentials. You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or have a parent or guardian’s authorization where required. You are responsible for activity through your account. Tell support if you suspect unauthorized access.

AI edit, not a record. Results can change faces, lettering, colours, textures and other details. They are not identity documents, reliable evidence or an exact reconstruction. Compare the original before publishing. We retain the provider’s original output and its C2PA provenance metadata when supplied; downloads containing C2PA credentials are delivered in the original format to preserve them, even if you request another format. Resized previews may not carry those credentials. Do not remove provenance to misrepresent an edit as an unedited photograph.

02

Credits, payment and refunds

Each generation costs one credit, including a new preset or repeat edit. Downloads do not cost another credit. Credits do not expire and there is no subscription. A technical failure or moderation rejection returns a charged credit automatically; failed guest attempts do not consume the free allowance.

Guests can preview a free result within the displayed guest limits. An account unlocks downloads and one welcome credit per eligible email, excluding disposable email addresses. Paid pack quantities and prices appear on Pricing; checkout shows the final amount including applicable taxes. Polar processes payments. Credits are added after payment confirmation.

Unused paid credits can be requested for refund within 14 days of purchase under our Refund Policy. Free credits have no cash value. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

03

Your photos and permissions

You retain your rights to uploaded photos. You give us permission to store and process them, and send them to our AI provider, solely to deliver and support the service. You must hold the necessary copyright and privacy permissions, including for other people and children pictured.

We do not claim ownership of your output. You may use it to the extent allowed by your input rights and applicable law; AI output may not be unique or qualify for copyright protection. Check permissions and accuracy before commercial use.

04

Acceptable use and moderation

Do not upload unlawful material, child sexual exploitation content, non-consensual intimate images, content that infringes rights, or images used for fraud, impersonation, harassment or violence. Do not evade guest limits, bypass safety checks, attack the service or misuse another person’s account.

OpenAI safety moderation applies and may reject an image or edit. We may restrict or suspend accounts for abuse, security threats or material breaches, including Google sign-in access. Where practicable, we explain the reason; contact support to request review. Suspension does not remove any refund or consumer rights required by law.

05

Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a useful service but cannot promise continuous availability, a particular aesthetic result or perfect preservation of details. Keep your original and download results you want to keep before the retention period ends. Our Privacy Policy explains storage and deletion.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or losses caused by your misuse of an edited image. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections, fraud or intentional misconduct.

We may update these terms for changes to the product or legal requirements. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or account email where appropriate. Contact support about any dispute so we can try to resolve it.
